Blue Mass to be livestreamed; Annual Golf Outing scheduled

The 20th Annual Blue Mass is set for 10:30 a.m., April 30 in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, 151 N. Warren Street, Trenton. Men and women of all faiths are invited to attend this annual celebration of law enforcement where Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M. will serve as principal celebrant and homilist.

Those who are unable to attend the Blue Mass in Trenton are invited to watch via Livestream, which will be made available on the Diocese of Trenton Website and TrentonMonitor.com as well as shared on all the diocesan social media accounts. The Diocesan Department of Development will sponsor the eighth annual Bishop John C. Reiss Memorial Golf Outing June 10 at Spring Lake Golf Club, 901 Warren Ave., Spring Lake Heights, to benefit the Harris Family Charitable Trust for the Aged, Infirmed and Disabled Priests of the Diocese of Trenton.

The day will begin with registration from 10 to 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The golf tournament will begin with a prayer, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and scramble format. Immediately following the tournament will be dinner and cocktails. Highlights include a hole-in-one and closest to the pin competition. Cost for a foursome begins at $3,500. Individual golfers are $750 each.
