Teens and youth ministers from all four corners of the Diocese of Trenton are invited to attend the annual Diocesan Youth Conference (DYC), Feb. 8 in Donovan Catholic High School, Toms River.
This day-long conference will include inspirational speakers, witnesses and time spent with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. There will also be an opportunity to participate in confession and Mass with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.
The 2020 DYC theme, “Inspired”, will be the focus of each session the teens will attend, with the goal of “helping young people to realize that God loves them so much that he’s given them all these amazing gifts and empowers us to be a light in the world,” said Dan Waddington, director of the diocesan Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries.

A new radio show which promotes faith and sports and how they relate to God premiered Jan. 7 on Domestic Church Media’s Catholic Radio Network.
The program, titled “Just Be You”, is the idea of Notre Dame High School chaplain Father Jason Parzynski and the Lawrenceville school’s strength and conditioning coach John McKenna of the Diocese’s Catholic Athletes for Christ.
“This is an opportunity to continue to develop and build upon the mission of Catholic Athletes for Christ, not only those under our guidance, but the whole audience area of the radio station,” Father Parzynski said.
The show will air Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. and be rebroadcast on Saturdays at 9 a.m on Domestic Church Media Catholic Radio at WFJS Trenton (1260 AM); WGYM Hammonton (1580 AM); WSMJ North Wildwood (91.9 FM) and WFJS Freehold (89.3 FM), or on domesticchurchmedia.org, on the DCM Mobile App, and on the Amazon Alexa and Google Home devices.
