Bishop O’Connell’s “The Shepherd’s Voice” to premiere March 5

Today, Bishop O’Connell will host his monthly radio program “The Shepherd’s Voice” on Domestic Church Media.

The Bishop will discuss with DCM host Jim Manfredonia some of the special activities and observances in the coming month, including his Pastoral Letter on the Presence of God and the Year of St. Joseph for which he has released a special message and photo collection of St. Joseph imagery in our churches. Along with those, Bishop O’Connell will be discussing about how Holy Week and Easter will be celebrated in strict observance of pandemic precautions and examining the Church’s guidance on moral vaccine choices. Lastly, He will also address the need to advocate for adjustments to the COVID-19 relief bill currently under consideration by Congress, to ensure that it will not fund abortion and compromise religious freedom.

The January episode of “The Shepherd’s Voice”, can be heard Fridays at 3:00 pm on WFJS 1260AM, WFJS 89.3FM, WGYM 1580AM or WSMJ 91.9FM as well as other times that can be found on the expanded schedule on DCM’s website.
